An Easter trip backpacking for a couple of days with Peter, Lottie and Dave, and a day on Illgill Head and Whin Rigg with Peter, Lottie, Catherine & Chris. The western fells got the best of the weather, particularly in the evenings - cloud dominated the eastern views.
Our route took in Middle Fell, Seatallan, Haycock and Caw Fell on Friday; Whoap, Lank Rigg, Haycock (again), Scoat Fell, Steeple and Red Pike on Saturday; Yewbarrow on Sunday; and Illgill Head and Whin Rigg on Monday.
